Youth Dance company for Norfolk
Full Tilt is a committed performance group attending classes on a regular basis. The group works on choreographic skills and creates new work for performance. Members are invited to participate in special workshops and projects with visiting artists. This year the company succeeded in getting to the final of the national Youth Dance England conference and will also be performing at Norwich Theatre Royal as part of the ‘Big Dance in Norfolk’ event. There are opportunities to go on theatre trips both locally and further afield! The next term will start in September.
We are holding auditions on Saturday July 26, 11.00am-1.30pm.
The deadline for applications is Friday 4 July 2008.
The auditions are free and we will be holding a technique class and a creative class for auditionees to attend during the day. Once we have received your application form, we will send you a timetable and more information about the day.
Please be aware that should you be successful in becoming a member of the company, you will have to attend the Full Tilt summer school here at The Garage, 11-13 August, 10am-3pm, £30.
If you like the sound of joining a creative group but are not ready to face an audition or if you are too young for Full Tilt you can join MOVEON. This is open to 12-16 years and is a good introduction and preparation for the youth dance company. Contact us to find out more.
