Toddler Dance                                                       

For 1-4 year olds with mum, dad or carer

Fun and creative sessions for toddlers to dance with mum, dad or carer.
Movement games, songs and storytelling to spark the imagination.

Led by  Lou Kitchener

 

Contemporary Classes

For adults 15 years plus
Refreshing and invigorating sessions with emphasis on ease and effectiveness of movement.
Build flexibility and strength through exercises and choreographed sequences.

D4Dance

For adults 15 years plus
Everyone is welcome to join this open group for adults with learning difficulties.
The chance to explore different ideas and themes and create new dances.
Led by Katy Linturn
We also run Saturday workshops see workshop days for further details

 

 Open Creative Groups

For 5 -16 years
Develop new dance skills through dynamic moves and choreographed sequences.

The chance to express yourself through dance and to explore different dance styles

and themes. These classes give you the opportunity to use your imagination and bring

your own ideas to the group.

Open Adult Ballet
For adults 15 years plus
Graceful movement, strengthening exercises and the chance to improve your co-ordination and alignment.  For returners as well as all of you who've always wanted to give it a go!

Footwear: ballet shoes recommended

 

Pilates

For adults 16 years plus

Gentle focused exercise that tones, stretches and conditions. Relaxing sessions that will increase your mobility and co-ordination, and strengthen your back and abdominal muscles. Nicky Gibbs qualified through the Pilates Institute and is an experienced dance teacher.

Suitable for all ages including older people.

Open Hip Hop Classes

From 8 years to adult
This highly energetic and dynamic dance trend takes its influence from R & B and hip hop music. Experience new ways of moving set to a soundtrack of the coolest commercial music.

Contemporary Dance for over 50s

For adults 50 years plus

Contemporary session

Energizing sessions with an emphasis on mobilising the body, improving fitness and developing flexibility. Relaxed, supportive and invigorating.

Creative session

A chance to build skills and to explore creativity, choreography and improvisation. (Only available to those attending Contemporary session)
