Social Dance Workshops: Ball Skills for 2012
For adults 16 years plus
This series of workshops is about re-igniting the forgotten sills of the ballroom that lie buried deep within our DNA.
The morning sessions are designed to equip the absolute beginner with the basic elements required to dance the three most frequently encountered ballroom dances;
Foxtrot, Waltz and Quickstep
The afternoon sessions will take you to the next level. If you are already an accomplished social dancer who would like to polish their floor craft then you'll also benefit from these. Designed to give you the tools to negotiate your way around the most crowded ballroom, we'll be showing you how to dance more effectively, releasing the elegance of your inner 'Fred and Ginger' as opposed to annoying Craig Revel Horwood.
Remeber, it's not really a ball if you don't dance ballroom!
Foxtrot - Saturday Jan 28th
Waltz - Saturday Feb 18th
Quickstep - Saturday March 17th
