Professional Development

Saturday Studio

Saturday Studio: Informal sharing of work by local dance practitioners

Norfolk Dance is committed to providing professional development opportunities for local dance practitioners. Saturday Studio is an initiative intended for practitioners with an interest in choreography and exploring creative ideas. It will provide an opportunity to show contemporary work, (irrespective of its stage of development) in an informal setting to a small invited audience of fellow practitioners and dance enthusiasts. The day will end with discussion, feedback and wine!

We ask that practitioners interested in developing work and taking part please register their interest with us by emailing info@norfolkdance.co.uk by the end of September at the latest.

If you are an accomplished, more experienced dancer who is interested in offering your time and commitment to this project then we would love to hear from you.

Saturday Studio: October 30
4.00 – 8.00pm

Breckland Community Dance Bursary Scheme
In association with Breckland Council, Norfolk Dance is planning to set up a training programme/bursary for a Community Dance practitioner resident in Breckland. The purpose of the scheme is to provide training opportunities and skills development to an individual based in the district in order to extend provision and access to dance activities. If you would like to find out more about this scheme please email info@norfolkdance.co.uk
